This page explains how to return an item bought on www.secnewstore.com and how to use your legal right of withdrawal. It applies to customers in the European Union, the United States and Canada. Full terms are in our Refund policy.

Please do not send anything before contacting us. Our merch is printed and shipped by our fulfilment partner Printful, so we may give you a different, closer return address for your order. Parcels sent without a return authorisation may not be accepted.

How to return an item

1. Contact us first. Email customers@secnewstore.com (or use our contact form) with your order number, the item(s) you want to return and, if you like, the reason. You can also use the model withdrawal form below.
2. Get your return instructions. We reply, normally within one business day, with the return authorisation and the address to send the item to.
3. Send the item back within 14 days of telling us you want to return it, in the condition you received it, ideally in its original packaging. Please use a tracked shipping method and keep the proof of postage.
4. Get your refund. Once we receive the item (or proof that you have sent it), we refund you to your original payment method within 14 days at the latest, usually much faster.

Return window: 30 days

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. This is longer than the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU law guarantees (see below), and your legal rights are not affected by our longer window.

To be accepted, returned items should be unworn and unused, in the same condition you received them, with any original tags and packaging. If an item has been used more than needed to check its nature, characteristics and fit, we may reduce the refund by the loss in value.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU customers)

If you live in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you name (other than the carrier), receive the goods. If you ordered several items that are delivered separately, the period ends 14 days after you receive the last item.

To exercise this right, tell us of your decision with a clear statement, for example by email to customers@secnewstore.com or by post to the address above. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. It is enough that you send your notice before the withdrawal period ends.

Effects of withdrawal: we refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs (but not extra costs if you chose a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard delivery), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We use the same payment method you used for the original order, unless you expressly agree otherwise; you will not pay any fees for the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of having sent them, whichever is earlier. You must send the goods back no later than 14 days after you tell us you are withdrawing.

Who pays return shipping

• Change of mind (EU, US and Canada): the direct cost of sending the item back is paid by you, unless we offer you a prepaid return label for your order when we send the return instructions.
• Damaged, defective, misprinted or wrong items: we cover all costs. See below.

Damaged, defective or misprinted items

Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective, misprinted or not what you ordered, email customers@secnewstore.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the problem. We will send a free replacement or give you a full refund, at no cost to you. In most cases you will not need to send the item back. This does not affect your statutory rights under EU and Greek consumer law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for goods.

Items that cannot be returned

As stated in our Refund policy, the following cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

• Custom or personalised products made to your specifications (for example, items with your own text or design)
• Gift cards
• Downloadable software or digital products, once the download has started with your prior consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal
• Items clearly marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase (this does not limit the EU right of withdrawal where it applies)

Our standard SecNews merch designs are not personalised items and can be returned under this policy.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. The quickest way to get a different size or colour is to return the original item and place a new order.
