Refund policy

SecNewStore (www.secnewstore.com) is operated by SECNEWS.GR SINGLE MEMBER PRIVATE COMPANY (brand: SECNEWS), 6 Gamveta str., 10678 Athens, Greece. This policy applies to orders shipped to the European Union, the United States and Canada. 30-day returns

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your item. This is longer than the 14-day right of withdrawal guaranteed by EU law, and it does not affect your statutory rights.

EU right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you live in the European Union, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods (or the last item, if delivered separately) without giving any reason. To do so, send us a clear statement by email to customers@secnewstore.com or by post to the address below; you may use the model withdrawal form. We refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (not the extra cost of a more expensive delivery method you chose), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your notice, using your original payment method and at no fee to you. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide proof of having sent them. You must send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us.

Eligibility

To be accepted, returned items should be:

• In the same condition that you received them
• Unworn or unused
• With any original tags attached and, where possible, in the original packaging

Please include your order number or proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email). If an item has been handled more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit, we may reduce the refund by the resulting loss in value.

How to start a return

Contact us first at customers@secnewstore.com with your order number and the item(s) you want to return. We will reply with a return authorisation and instructions on how and where to send your package. Please do not send items back before you receive these instructions; parcels sent without authorisation may not be accepted.

Our merch is printed and fulfilled by our partner Printful. For some orders we may give you a different, closer return address; we will always tell you clearly by email.

Return shipping

For change-of-mind returns and withdrawals, the direct cost of returning the item is paid by the customer, unless we provide a prepaid return label for your order. This applies equally to customers in the EU, the United States and Canada. For damaged, defective, misprinted or incorrect items we cover all costs. We recommend a tracked shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked parcels.

Damaged, defective or misprinted items

Please inspect your order on delivery. If an item is damaged, defective, misprinted or incorrect, contact us at customers@secnewstore.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost to you. This does not affect your statutory rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity under EU and Greek consumer law.

Exceptions and non-returnable items

Unless they are faulty, the following cannot be returned:

• Custom or personalised products made to your specifications (special orders, items with your own text or design)
• Gift cards
• Downloadable software or digital products, once the download has started with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you lose your right of withdrawal
• Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase (this does not limit the EU right of withdrawal where it applies)

Our standard SecNews merch designs are not personalised items and can be returned under this policy. If you are unsure whether an item is eligible, please contact us before purchasing.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item and place a new order.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item (or proof that you have sent it), we will notify you by email and refund you to your original payment method. For EU withdrawals this happens at the latest within 14 days of your withdrawal notice; for other returns we aim to refund within 10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at customers@secnewstore.com.
